Coming Winter 2026

This is not a mock-up

It is the player as it stands today, with two tracks in the mix: vocals and drums switched out of the one on the left.

Kool Music Mixer: two decks playing with their waveforms, a mixer between them, and the music library below.

Working today

Take a song apart

Three switches on every deck: Vocals, Bass, Drums. Flip one and that part of the song is gone. Flip it back and it returns, mid-song, without a click.

  • Sing over the instrumental. Put one song's vocal on another's beat.
  • Eight pads a deck: cue points, loops, and loops that fire by themselves.
  • Change the tempo and keep the pitch. One press of Quartz and it is back.
  • Your music files are never changed.
One deck: the Filters row with Vocals and Drums switched on, the track's waveform with cue points and a loop marked on it, the platter, cue pads and tempo fader.

It knows every track

Each one is measured as it arrives: its tempo to the hundredth of a BPM, its key, its beat grid, how it ends, and the place it should hand over to the next.

  • Every track plays at the same level. No reaching for the volume.
  • Genres belong to the artist: say it once and every track follows.
  • Tick a dozen rows and change them together.
The music library: a grid of tracks with artist, album, genre, type, disc, BPM, key and rating, three rows ticked for a change.

Rips CDs (how old school!)

Put a CD in. The titles are looked up, you pick the genre while it rips, and each track lands in your library measured and ready to play.

  • FLAC, AIFF, WAV or MP3.
  • Your whole collection of files is welcome too, thousands of them.
  • Nothing is uploaded. It all stays on your computer.
The CD ripper: a disc's ten tracks with their titles, genres and types, and the choice of file format.

Built for the audiophile

A DJ's tools on a hi-fi's signal path. It plays the file you own at the quality you own it in, through a playback engine written for sound first.

1,411 kbps
Your bit rate, not a stream's. A CD rip plays at its full 1,411 kbps, a 24-bit, 96 kHz file at 4,608. A typical stream gives you 256 or 320.
32-bit float
A 32-bit floating-point engine. From the file to the mixer nothing is rounded down, and there is headroom to spare: two tracks in the mix do not clip inside it.
Lossless in & out
FLAC, AIFF and WAV, played and ripped. Your CDs come in without a bit thrown away. MP3 plays too, when that is what you have.
0 files changed
Your music is never touched. Volume levelling, tempo and the filters are all done as it plays. The files on your drive stay exactly as they are.

Still freezing: bit-perfect output, straight to your DAC with nothing in between. It is proven on the bench and being built in.

Still freezing

What is being built between now and winter.
